Professor Danuta Witkowska is completing a 2-week internship at the University of Texas at Austin, as a visiting professor in the laboratory and group of Professor Jason McLellan, whose team was the first to solve the structure of the S1 protein of the Sars-Cov 2 virus. Danuta Witkowska, as PI of the NCN project UMO-2020/37/B/NZ6/01476, has established a collaboration with Prof McLellan’s team, thanks to which the previous phases of the project have been successfully implemented. The current visit made it possible to get to know the research facilities of Prof. Mclellan’s team and the possibilities of further collaboration.
